The order lifecycle
Once you approve a quote and complete payment, here is exactly what happens at each stage:
1. Payment confirmed
We verify your payment within 1 business day. You receive a confirmation email and your order status updates in the dashboard.
2. Order placed with seller
Our purchasing team places the order with the seller using our accounts. This usually happens within 24 hours of payment confirmation. You are not buying from iWishBag -- we are buying from the seller on your behalf.
3. Seller ships to our warehouse
The seller dispatches the product to our operations warehouse. Domestic shipping by the seller typically takes 2-7 business days depending on the store and country. You can track this stage in your dashboard.
4. Received at warehouse
When the package arrives at our warehouse, we inspect it, verify the contents against your order, take photos, and log the actual weight. If the weight differs from the estimate, your invoice may be adjusted.
5. International dispatch
We prepare customs documentation, consolidate packages if applicable, and hand off to our international carrier. You receive a tracking number for this leg.
6. Customs clearance
Your package goes through customs at the destination country. We handle all documentation. This can take 1-5 business days. Duties are either pre-paid (included in your quote) or settled at this stage.
7. Last-mile delivery
After clearing customs, a local courier delivers the package to your door. You will receive delivery notifications and can coordinate timing if needed.
How you are notified
You receive email updates at each major stage. You can also check real-time status anytime from the My Orders page in your account.
