What is included in your quote
Every quote shows a transparent breakdown of all costs. Here is what each line means:
Product cost
The price of the item on the seller's website, converted to your local currency at the current exchange rate. This is the exact amount the seller charges, with no markup.
Service fee
Our concierge fee for managing the purchase, quality check, and logistics coordination. This is how iWishBag earns revenue. The fee varies by product value and complexity.
International shipping
The cost to ship from the seller's country to your destination country. This is calculated based on actual or estimated weight and dimensions. Combined quotes share this cost across items.
Last-mile delivery
Local courier charges to deliver from our operations hub to your door. This may be included in the international shipping line depending on the route.
Customs duty and taxes
Import duties and taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) charged by your country's customs authority. These are either confirmed or estimated in the quote. If estimated, we clearly mark them and settle the difference after clearance.
Insurance (optional)
Optional protection at 2.5% of the item value. Covers full product value for damage, loss, or seller disputes. Without insurance, claims are limited to service fees and shipping charges only.
Why the price is higher than the product page
The product page shows only the item price. Your quote includes everything needed to get that item to your door: shipping across borders, customs duties, local delivery, and our service. Think of the quote as a delivered-to-your-door price with no surprises.
Estimated vs confirmed amounts
Some line items may be marked as "estimated":
- Weight-based shipping -- If we do not have the exact weight yet, shipping is estimated from product specs. It is adjusted to actual weight once received at our warehouse.
- Customs duty -- Duty rates vary by product classification. We estimate based on the product category, but the final amount is set by customs.
Any adjustments are reflected on your final invoice, and we notify you of changes before they are applied.
