Items we cannot ship
The following items are prohibited on all routes and cannot be purchased or shipped through iWishBag under any circumstances:
- Hazardous materials -- Flammable liquids, gases, explosives, corrosives, radioactive materials
- Weapons -- Firearms, ammunition, knives (over legal limit), tasers, replicas that resemble real weapons
- Counterfeit goods -- Fake branded items, pirated media, unlicensed replicas
- Illegal substances -- Narcotics, controlled drugs, drug paraphernalia
- Live animals and plants -- Without proper import permits (which we do not process)
- Perishable food -- Fresh food, frozen items, or anything requiring cold chain
- Currency and financial instruments -- Cash, bonds, bearer instruments
Restricted items (may vary by destination)
These items can sometimes be shipped but face restrictions depending on the destination country:
- Electronics with large lithium batteries -- Some carriers restrict lithium battery sizes. Small batteries (phones, laptops) are usually fine.
- Cosmetics and perfumes -- Alcohol-based perfumes may be restricted on air routes. Some countries restrict certain cosmetic ingredients.
- Food supplements and vitamins -- Regulations vary widely. Some countries require special import permits.
- Medicines and pharmaceuticals -- Prescription medicines typically cannot be imported. Over-the-counter items depend on the destination country.
- Alcohol and tobacco -- Heavy duties and quantity limits apply in most countries. Some countries prohibit imports entirely.
- Seeds and agricultural products -- Most countries restrict import of seeds, soil, and plant material.
