Package inspection and photos at our warehouse

What we check on arrival

When your package arrives at our warehouse, our team performs a standard inspection:

  • External condition -- We check for visible damage to the outer packaging (dents, tears, water damage).
  • Weight verification -- We weigh the package and compare against the expected weight from your order. If it differs significantly, we flag it.
  • Label check -- We verify the sender, tracking number, and that it matches your order.
  • Photo documentation -- We take photos of the package as received and log them in your mailbox dashboard.

Content verification

For standard shipments, we do not open sealed packages unless:

  • You specifically request a content check
  • The external packaging is damaged and we need to verify contents
  • Customs documentation requires us to verify item details

Requesting additional photos

If you want detailed photos of the product itself (opened box, close-ups of the item), you can request this from your mailbox dashboard. Our team will open the package, photograph the contents, and reseal it for shipping.

What if we find damage?

If we detect damage on arrival at our warehouse:

  1. We photograph the damage and notify you immediately.
  2. We file a claim with the seller or carrier on your behalf.
  3. You decide whether to proceed with shipping the item as-is, wait for a replacement, or request a return to the seller.

Catching damage at the warehouse is better than finding it at your door -- it gives us more options for resolution.
