Frequently asked

Quick answers

How do I shop online in Nepal from international stores?
Paste the product link on our order page. We buy the item, ship internationally, clear customs, and deliver to your address in Nepal. Pay with eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay QR, or cards.
Which international shopping websites ship to Nepal?
Through iWishBag, almost any of them. Amazon (US/India), AliExpress, Alibaba, Flipkart, Myntra, Walmart, Target, Shein, Temu, plus hundreds more. If we have a warehouse in the origin country, we can shop it.
What are the best shopping websites in Nepal?
For broad catalog and fastest lane, Indian stores (Flipkart, Amazon India, Myntra). For cheapest pricing, Chinese stores (AliExpress, Taobao). For US-only products, Amazon US. We support all of them through one account.
Do I need an international credit card?
No. We purchase on your behalf. You pay us in NPR via eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay QR, or bank transfer. Cards and PayPal also work.
How long does delivery take?
India 10–20 days, USA 14–30 days, China 20–45 days. Time depends on origin and shipping lane (Express vs Standard vs Surface).
Are customs duties included?
Yes. We pre-calculate Nepal duty and bake it into your quote. The price you pay is what you pay — no surprise customs bill at delivery.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Real-time tracking from origin pickup through customs clearance to delivery, with email and SMS updates at every milestone.
What can't be shipped to Nepal?
Weapons, drugs, hazardous materials, certain restricted electronics, and a few category-specific items. If unsure about something specific, ask before ordering.
How is this different from Daraz?
Daraz sells from its own Nepal-based catalog. iWishBag gets you anything from international stores — Amazon, Flipkart, AliExpress, Myntra — that Daraz doesn't stock, with customs and delivery handled. Many shoppers use both: Daraz for local basics, iWishBag for everything else.
Details

Most international online stores don't ship to Nepal directly. The ones that do quote freight rates that often exceed the product price. We solve both problems with a free Indian, Chinese, Japanese, US, or UK warehouse address you give to whatever store you're shopping — or a "we shop for you" service if you don't want to deal with foreign checkouts at all.

Pick origin by what you're buying

  • India (10–20 days) — fastest, cheapest, deepest catalog. Flipkart, Amazon India, Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa, FirstCry, Decathlon
  • China (20–45 days) — best per-item pricing once consolidated. AliExpress for retail, Taobao/1688 for everything Chinese-only, Alibaba for bulk
  • USA (14–30 days) — niche American brands, Apple peripherals, US-only health and supplements
  • UK (14–25 days) — British brands, UK-spec tech, certain pharmacy and skincare lines
  • Japan (14–30 days) — stationery, cosmetics, hobby/anime, niche electronics

For most Nepali shoppers, India and China cover 80%+ of needs at the best math. Only reach for US/UK/Japan when nothing else fits.

Why local payment matters

Nepal's foreign-exchange controls make international card transactions harder than they should be. Many cards refuse foreign merchants outright. Even successful transactions add 1–3% in FX fees on top of your bank's conversion margin.

Going through us, you pay in NPR via eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay QR, or bank transfer. We absorb the FX on our end (we already do international card processing for our supplier-side payments). Same final price, no card-rejection drama.

Customs is included, always

Every quote bakes in Nepal customs duty + 13% VAT pre-calculated against the HS code. The price you see is the price you pay — no separate duty bill at delivery. If customs ever assesses higher than we quoted (rare, mostly for misclassified goods), we cover the difference up to a tolerance.

Worth knowing

  • Consolidate orders within an origin warehouse before forwarding. Three small parcels cost 50–80% more than one combined shipment to Nepal
  • Time orders around major sales: Big Billion Days October (Flipkart), EORS June/December (Myntra), 11.11 November (AliExpress)
  • For high-value electronics, keep the original purchase invoice — Nepal customs occasionally asks for verification
  • For festival timing (Dashain, Tihar, Diwali), book at least 10 days ahead. October–November is the busiest forwarding window
  • Use eSewa or Khalti instead of cards if you can — saves the FX margin without changing the final NPR amount
