A "mailbox" is what we call your free warehouse address in India, China, or Japan. You give that address to whatever online store you're shopping. They ship to us. We consolidate parcels from multiple stores, then forward everything to Nepal as one international shipment.

The whole point: no foreign shopping site needs to know you're in Nepal. They just see an Indian, Chinese, or Japanese address and ship as normal. Then we handle the cross-border part.

Why this saves money

Shopping multiple stores without a mailbox means paying international shipping multiple times — once per parcel. With consolidation through a mailbox, you pay it once for the combined shipment.

A real example. Order three things in the same week: a phone from Flipkart, a kurta from Myntra, and beauty products from Nykaa. Without a mailbox, you'd ship each one separately — three international shipping bills, three customs clearances, three deliveries. With a mailbox, all three land at our India warehouse, we combine them, and you pay one shipping bill for the consolidated parcel.

How it works

  3. We receive and photograph — every parcel gets logged with a photo when it arrives at our warehouse
  4. Consolidate — wait until all your purchases arrive (we hold up to 90 days free), then trigger forwarding
  5. Pay shipping — we calculate freight and customs and send you a quote. Pay in your currency
  6. We ship and deliver — international transport, customs clearance, doorstep delivery to Nepal

You only pay forwarding when you ship. Receiving parcels and storage (up to 90 days) are free.

When to use mailbox vs "we shop for you"

Two ways to use iWishBag, and they're complementary:

  • Mailbox (this guide) — you have a foreign card or local card that works on the source site. You shop yourself, we forward

Worth knowing before you sign up

  • Your three addresses are different from each other. Don't paste your India address on a Chinese site — it won't work
  • Hold time is 90 days free. After that, daily storage applies. Plan your consolidation timing
  • For phones and electronics, keep the original purchase invoice — destination customs occasionally asks for verification
  • Consolidation works across stores in the same origin. Mix Flipkart, Amazon India, Myntra in one shipment, but China-origin parcels need their own shipment
  • Sign up before you start shopping, not after the seller asks for an address. The site won't let you change after the order ships

Common questions

Is the mailbox really free? Yes. Free signup, free three addresses, free 90-day storage, free parcel photographs. You only pay when you forward internationally.

Can my family use the same mailbox? Mailboxes are per-account. If multiple family members shop, separate accounts work cleanly. Combined deliveries to Nepal are still possible if you coordinate the address at the destination.

What if a parcel arrives without my mailbox ID? Our team checks tracking numbers and matches by sender or content. If it's truly anonymous, we'll email all customers it might belong to. Best practice: include your mailbox ID in any order notes when you shop.

Do you ship to PO Boxes? Most lanes deliver to physical addresses only. For PO Box delivery, we coordinate with the destination postal service.
