How the cost is calculated

iWishBag quotes one all-in landed cost: the item price, international shipping by chargeable weight, customs duty and import taxes for your destination, and the service fee — no surprise charges at delivery. The calculator gives a close estimate; your binding quote is confirmed before you pay.

How is customs duty calculated?
Customs duty is charged on the assessed (CIF) value — item price plus shipping and insurance — at the rate your country's customs tariff sets for that product category, with VAT or GST applied on top. iWishBag includes both in the quote. See our customs duty guide for a full worked example.
Is the calculator estimate the final price?
No. It is a close estimate. Your binding quote is confirmed by the iWishBag team before payment, after verifying the exact item, chargeable weight, and product category.
Can I pay in NPR without an international card?
Yes. You pay in NPR via local methods (eSewa, Khalti, FonePay, NepalPay QR, or card). iWishBag purchases on your behalf, so you do not need an international credit card or PayPal.
How is shipping weight calculated?
Shipping is priced on chargeable weight — the greater of the parcel's actual weight and its volumetric (dimensional) weight. The calculator uses the weight you enter; the final quote uses the measured parcel.
