Does Temu ship to Maldives?+
Not directly. We bridge the gap: we purchase in CNY through our China rails, manage freight and customs, and provide delivery to Maldives.
How long does Temu delivery to Maldives take?+
Typically 20-45 days by air, depending on carrier space and customs. Consolidating multiple Temu orders into one shipment is often faster per item and cheaper.
Can I pay Temu in local currency?+
Pay via international cards, PayPal, or bank transfer.
Do I pay customs duty?+
Yes. Duties are included/estimated in your quote so you know landed cost before you pay.
Is Temu safe to order from?+
Quality varies by seller, so read recent reviews before ordering. We inspect parcels at our warehouse and won't forward items we identify as counterfeit.
Details
Temu is the bargain-bin tier of Chinese e-commerce — cheaper than AliExpress on most overlapping items, but with a narrower curated catalog. Drop a link on our order page; we buy in CNY through our China rails, ship to Maldives, clear customs.
Temu makes most sense for low-price-point household basics, accessories, and trend-experiment fashion where you want to spend $5–15 per item rather than $20–50. For higher-quality items where reliability matters, AliExpress (more sellers to compare) or Taobao (deeper catalog) usually serve better.
Is Temu available in Maldives?
Temu doesn't run an official storefront or ship directly to Maldives — the app and browsing work, but checkout and direct delivery don't extend everywhere yet. That's true across most of Temu's markets outside its core launch countries.
The workaround: paste the Temu product link on our order page. We buy it in CNY through our China rails, consolidate it with anything else you're ordering from Chinese platforms, ship internationally, and clear customs before it reaches your door.
For India specifically, that means weighing your total landed cost — item price plus our fee, freight, and duty — against buying the same category from a domestic marketplace like Amazon India or Flipkart, which ship within India and skip the customs step entirely. See the India customs duty primer for what gets added at the border on an international order. Temu still tends to win on price for low-cost basics; domestic marketplaces win on speed.
Worth knowing before you order
Add variant, color, and target price in the order note. Temu listings sometimes change between view and checkout — locking the spec at order time prevents drift
Run the calculator before committing. A typical Temu basket below $50 isn't always worth the international shipping math vs buying locally
Quality is highly variable — read recent reviews carefully. We won't ship items we identify as counterfeit (fake-brand goods)
Consolidate Temu with AliExpress, Taobao, or Shein orders at our China warehouse before forwarding. Multi-store consolidation is where the savings live
Returns aren't practical once a parcel leaves China. Order conservatively
