Raunak founded iWishBag in 2014 to solve a problem he kept running into himself: no reliable way for emerging-market shoppers to buy from global retailers at a known total cost.
The first ten orders were friends. The next thousand came from word of mouth. Within a few years iWishBag was Nepal’s largest cross-border concierge — and customers from India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Bangladesh and the Gulf were asking for the same service.
Today iWishBag operates as IWISHBAG PTE LTD out of Singapore, serves customers across 30+ countries, and quotes landed cost in 30+ currencies — a multi-origin platform spanning the US, UK, India, China and Japan. Raunak still personally reviews customer escalations and ships product. The bet has stayed simple: emerging-market shoppers deserve the same access to global retail as anyone else, with prices they can trust before they pay.

2014
iWishBag founded in Kathmandu, Nepal — first cross-border orders shipped to Nepali customers.
2015–2018
Expanded retailer support to Amazon US, eBay, AliExpress, Flipkart, and Alibaba.
2019–2021
Built in-house customs duty engine and all-inclusive landed-cost quotes.
2022
Launched WhatsApp ordering and local payment integrations (eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay, UPI).
2023
Incorporated IWISHBAG PTE LTD in Singapore (UEN 202347947E) for regional operations.
2024–2026
Extended service to South Asia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia; added Best Buy, Etsy, Home Depot, Zara.
