Meet the founder

Raunak Bohra

Founder & CEO, iWishBag

Raunak founded iWishBag in 2014 to solve a problem he kept running into himself: emerging-market shoppers had no reliable way to buy from Amazon US, eBay, AliExpress, or any major global retailer and have it land at their door at a known total cost. A decade later, iWishBag is one of the most comprehensive cross-border concierges in the world — operating from Singapore, serving 30+ countries, and shipping from 5 origin markets.

The story

iWishBag started in 2014 as a way for shoppers in Nepal to buy from Amazon US without the hidden costs and delivery uncertainty that plagued every other forwarding service. The first ten orders were friends. The next thousand came from word of mouth. Within a few years iWishBag was Nepal’s largest cross-border concierge — and customers from India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Bangladesh and the Gulf were asking for the same service.

Today iWishBag operates as IWISHBAG PTE LTD out of Singapore, serves customers across 30+ countries, and quotes landed cost in 30+ currencies. The product has expanded from a single US-to-Nepal lane into a multi-origin (US, UK, India, China, Japan), multi-destination platform with AI-assisted support across web chat and WhatsApp, integrated price enrichment, and a warehouse footprint across China.

Raunak still personally reviews customer escalations and ships product. The bet has stayed simple: emerging-market shoppers deserve the same access to global retail as anyone else, with prices they can trust before they pay.
